Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant.
-Robert Louis Stevenson
When you plant a garden and you plant the seeds they do not come up immediately, it takes time. You have to work up the ground, plant the seeds, water it, fertilize it and get the weeds out. It takes time. Sometimes when you do all the right things in the garden you still have problem the soil is rocky and the plant dies, or the weeds choke out the plant, or the seed doesn`t get enough water and dies. Sometimes you plant the seed here and the wind carries it som ewhere else and it comes up somewhere else. Well it works the same way in life, whether it be in business or just in life in general. In business you meet people and become friends (work up the ground and plant the seed), you talk to them about your business and they get in (watering and fertilizing it) and you help them along the way (getting the weed out). But some don`t do anything, others do a little and die out and you plant the seed with one person and those seeds come up with someone else. Meet people, share knowledge, friendship. You are planting seed, you will reap your harvest, but it takes time.

Give a man directions to the fishing and tackle shop and he can buy some gear, catch his own fish, maybe give you some in return. Doug from Swom in Taiwan
